Our piston design has many years of Research & Development involved to yield the best possible performance and reliability. Our 126" kit is comprised of a 105.28mm bore with 2 lightweight forged pistons (complete with Rings, C-Clips and Wrist Pins), 2 Head Gaskets, and 2 Base Gaskets.

What’s included in the Lloyd’z Big Bore Kit?

Each Big Bore Kit includes custom ductile iron sleeves, lightweight forged pistons, rings, wrist pins, clips, and all necessary gaskets. The kit is designed for seamless integration with your bike’s existing cylinders, which are machined to accommodate the new sleeves for a precise fit.

What kind of power gains can I expect?

With proper tuning, intake, and exhaust modifications, this kit can increase torque up to 148 lb-ft and boost horsepower to around 150 HP, depending on your specific bike model and setup.

Do I need a software upgrade?

Yes, to achieve optimal performance, Lloyd’z recommends an Electronic Control Module (ECM) reflash or upgrade. This software adjustment allows the bike’s ECU to handle the increased power and optimize fuel and timing settings for the larger displacement.

Is any additional tuning required?

A full dyno tune after installation is essential to unlock the kit’s full potential. The upgrade also benefits from a Power Commander or similar tuning module to fine-tune fuel and timing maps specifically for your setup.

Are there any additional recommended upgrades?

For the best results, Lloyd’z recommends upgrading your intake and exhaust, as well as reinforcing the clutch for improved power delivery. Pairing the Big Bore Kit with Lloyd’z high-lift cam profiles (such as the 585 cams) can further enhance power gains for high-performance application

Can I install the kit myself?

The Big Bore Kit requires machining and precise installation, ideally by a trained professional. While self-installation is possible for experienced mechanics, Lloyd’z recommends a certified installer to ensure the bike operates safely and effectively post-upgrade.
